Pergola Delivery & Installation
We work with experienced installation teams across the UK to ensure your pergola is assembled and secured correctly.
What's Included
- Full assembly of the pergola structure
- Installation of screens, panels, and accessories included within your order
- Secure fixing of the pergola to a suitable surface using appropriate fixings
Installation is typically arranged within approximately 2 weeks of your order, depending on stock availability and location.
We may request photographs of your installation area before scheduling to ensure the site is suitable and fully prepared.
Preparing for Installation
To help your installation run smoothly, please review the following requirements before your scheduled installation date.
Location & Positioning
- Please decide the exact location of your pergola before installation.
- Ensure the space is suitable for the pergola size ordered.
- The installation team will position the pergola in the agreed location on arrival.
Access
- Clear and unobstructed access must be available to the installation area.
- Please remove any furniture, plants, or obstacles before the team arrives.
Ground Preparation (Important)
The installation surface must be level, structurally sound, and capable of accepting suitable fixings.
Suitable surfaces include:
- Concrete
- Paving slabs
- Patios
- Structurally sound decking
For installations onto grass or soil, suitable concrete pads must be installed in advance.
Recommended concrete pad size: 20-40cm per leg.
Technical Requirements
Pergolas are designed to be securely fixed to a suitable base.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to installation, all pergolas must be fixed using appropriate anchoring methods recommended for the installation surface.
The installation surface must be:
- Level and structurally sound
- Suitable for secure fixing
- Prepared before the installation date
As a guide, any slope should not exceed 50mm across the installation area.
Additional preparation may be required for certain surfaces, including porcelain paving, raised decking, or specialist flooring systems.
Installation Scope & Responsibilities
Our installation service covers the assembly and fixing of the pergola only.
The following are not included unless specifically quoted:
- Groundworks
- Concrete pad installation
- Electrical works
- Surface levelling
- Alterations to existing structures
Additional work identified on site may be subject to additional charges.
Where installation cannot be completed in accordance with the agreed scope due to site conditions, the customer will be informed and this will be documented before sign-off.
Installation Completion & Reporting
All installations require customer sign-off upon completion.
Any concerns relating to the installation should be reported to Gardens of Style within 48 hours of completion, together with photographs where possible.
Prompt reporting allows us to investigate efficiently with the installation team and, where necessary, arrange remedial action.
We may be unable to fully assess installation-related concerns where alterations, repairs, or third-party works have been carried out before the issue is reported, or where the issue is reported after an extended period following installation, making it difficult to determine the original installation condition.
Limitations of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Ground movement or subsidence
- Unsuitable or unstable installation surfaces
- Structural changes made after installation
- Damage resulting from customer modifications
- Extreme weather events beyond the design limits of the product
- Surface marking or minor damage resulting from necessary installation and fixing methods

After Your Order
Once your order is confirmed, we will contact you to arrange delivery and installation.
