The key feature in the Pergola’s unique design is the vented roof louvres, the winding mechanisms allow you to control the direction of the roof louvres manually creating an open or closed space. The genius built-in drainage system means that if the weather changes, just close the louvered roof to make the area completely weatherproof, any rainwater that lands on the louvres will flow into the guttering channels and drain through the legs to the ground. These shutters also allow you to adjust the amount of sunlight or shade you desire.
Both models are semi-permanent structures, meaning they are secured to the surface and not below, this makes them very sturdy and durable, yet still with the ability to move, if required. Always keep the roof louvres slightly open during extreme weather conditions to allow the wind to pass through the structure.
Additionally, the options for the Maranza Pergola Deluxe Screens will provide protection from the wind and rain, ensuring that your outdoor area remains comfortable and shielded. The Maranza can take up to 6 screens. Below is the image of a 3.5 x 7.2m pergola and as you can see it has 6 legs, so if screens were wanted on the front, then x 2 340cm screens.
The Deluxe Screen zips into the Maranza legs, enabling an element of weatherproofing, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor area with added protection from the sun, wind and rain all year round. Note that the screens are designed to be retracted when the Maranza is not in use for longevity.
